Membership - general services provided to the members of the fl Sheriffs Association.
Law enforcement agency direct supportthe Florida Sheriffs Association provides direct support to the Sheriffs of the state of Florida by providing grants for equipment, bullet proof vests, and assets necessary to become accredited law enforcement agencies, and training. In addition, the Association provides indirect support by assisting with recruitment efforts and solving crimes through its various programs.
Training programs - the Florida Sheriffs Association sponsors and provides a variety of management and technical training programs. We host two major conferences for Sheriffs (winter and summer), plus offer training seminars for Sheriffs' office personnel. Training seminars offer expertise in leadership, human resource/risk management, administrative management and other law enforcement and corrections-orientated areas of need.
