Description
FLOYD COUNTY FRIENDS operates and maintains a 38,000 square foot multi-purpose building to serve our populated county of 6,000 as a community service organization. Our ongoing goal is to raise sufficient funds in our endowment account for the interest earned to keep our Unity Center running. Our Annual Gala, where over 600 guests are served by 40 volunteers, provides operating revenue for our Unity Center.

Program areas at Floyd County Friends

Our primary purpose is to operate and maintain our 38,000 square foot multi-purpose building to serve our 6,000 populated county.
Our endowment account is an ongoing program and it is our goal to raise enough funds in this account for the interest made to operate our Unity Center.
Our Annual Gala is a source of operating income for our Unity Center. The 2023 Gala serves over 600 guests and 40 adults help serve.
