Focus Fairies Mentoring

Over 350 participants have been empowered to recognize and address violent behaviors. We have a monthly community chat event for our participants as well as open it to the community to provide education and resources. We have fostered partnerships and collaborations with other organizations in North Lawndale.

Provided mentoring programs to increase self-confidence self-awareness emotional well-being and leadership skills. Our programs have maintained an average annual retention rate of 75% indicating strong participant commitment and satisfaction. The average attendance rate for weekly mentoring sessions is 90% with only 10% of participants missing sessions due to extenuating circumstances. 88% of our girls successfully completed the year-long mentoring program achieving all program milestones and objectives. Of those who completed the program 73% reported feeling more confident. In a recent parent survey 85% of FFM parents rated their overall experience as positive and inspiring. Our girls reported improved conflict resolution skills with 70% reporting using peaceful resolution strategies in interpersonal conflicts. Served over 250 girls.
