Funded training sessions for COCOBA womens savings and entrepreneurship programs to teach Maasai women to open small, environmentally friendly businesses and to teach them basic bookkeeping and business skills. Training programs consisted of a range of activities, including lessons in making beaded jewelry, leather tanning, beekeeping, and planting seedlings, along with business mentoring and coaching. COCOBA funding has also been allocated to buying tools and machines to assist the women in creating and marketing their products, as well as strategic planning, conservation meeting, and evaluation study of programs. $41,822
