Program areas at Food Chain Workers Alliance
Growth & learning: in this program area we organize leadership development trainings and an annual summit for Food Workers. In 2023, our trainings were provided virtually and included a worker leader cohort, a training series, and a popular education series.
Campaigns and messaging: we provided communications, public education and other capacity in support of our members' campaigns. We supported campaigns for values-based procurement. We supported regranting to members for language justice and capacity needs.
Movement-building: we supported ongoing work with various coalitions and built new partnerships with a diverse group of alliances and networks. We led a fellowship program for member organizations.
