During FY24, the Foodbank, through its facilities and programming in Norfolk, Tasley and Franklin Virginia, along with our partner agencies, provided over 24,715,806 pounds of food and grocery products equating to nearly 20.6 million nutritious meals that brought critical nourishment to individuals and families in need. This year saw an 89% increase in food distribution interactions, totaling over 1.6 million, as we reached more neighbors than ever through strengthened partnerships and expanded programming. Our partner agency network, essential to connecting with individuals in need, grew by 17%, expanding from 184 to 215 organizations. This year, 6,810 dedicated volunteers supported our mission, marking a 10% increase in our volunteer base and significantly enhancing our ability to serve our community. This extraordinary volunteer support has been essential in helping us expand our impact and fulfill our mission.
