Foothills Medical Society

The organization was founded in 1934 and was chartered by the Colorado Medical Society as the west denver area local Medical Society for physicians. The 550 physicians of fms represent all Medical specialities and are on staff at local hospitals and surgical centers owned by the centura health, exempla, and columbia networks. The physicans are in both solo and group practices in lakewood, wheat ridge, arvada, golden, thornton, westminster, broomfield and other areas of jefferson and southwest adams counties. The community has long been a recipient of several services provided by the physicians of fms. Besides patient referral services, fms provides care for indigent children, a speakers bureau, and free job placement.
