Program areas at Foothills Rails-to-Trails Coalition
Operated relay runs and races along entire Foothills Trail route, with the help of over 80 volunteers. The runs raise awareness of the route with the 2000 participants and the communities.
Convene government partners and landowners to coordinate the various processes necessary in trail development: from planning and feasibility to funding and construction.
Leverage organization funds and local community match funds to obtain grant funding for Pierce County trail projects, and support other trail organizations in the community.
