Program areas at For-M Foundation
Talent reskilling/upskilling: we provide opportunities for upskilling and reskilling to expand both the capacity and diversity of our tech talent. Signature programs include tech apprenticeships a preferred provider reskilling network for non-traditional skills development, and ai upskilling. We leverage state and federal grants to offset the costs and risks so that employers can invest in reskilling and upskilling.
Talent attraction/retention: support programs and efforts to attract tech workers to the region and ensure existing tech works choose to remain. Signature assets include choosemketech.org to showcase our region.
Talent k20: recognizing that developing diverse tech talent is critical to a vibrant tech community, the coalition supports technology education and opportunities to attract, develop, and retain diverse regional students to create a strong early talent pipeline. Signature programs include hour of tech and fuse.
Startup: scalable tech startups drive innovation and employment. The coalition supports start up firms throughout their life cycle through funding and mentoring programs. Signature programs include our For-M incubator.
