Family services - a comprehensive set of program services to families of the Sto-Rox community as follows: -positive parenting - a program For families with children from birth to age five. The goal of the program is to prevent child abuse and help children and families transition into the school system by improving the parent-child relationship. Approximately 120 individuals served. -family foundations - a federally funded early head start program involving 55 families in the area. -community services - provides counseling, information and referral; shelter, workforce development and crisis care For citizens in the area. The community resource center also houses multiple partner organizations providing linkages and counseling For various need.
Library - a free lending library, located in mckees rocks. The library is part of the allegheny county and Pennsylvania library systems.
