Program areas at Ford County 4-H Foundation
The Ford County 4-H Foundation provides college scholarships to local students through a competitive application process. In 2016, the Foundation granted scholarships totaling 2,000.00 to five students. The following scholarships are awarded by the organization nobuko nicholson memorial scholarship, myron nicholson memorial scholarship, nicholson family memorial scholarship, glenn family memorial scholarship, nathan martin memorial scholarship, and the Ford County 4-H Foundation scholarship.
The Ford County 4-H Foundation provided support for young people attending youth leadership conferences. In 2016, the Foundation assisted individuals with expenses to attend the Kansas youth leadership forum as well as for ambassador training.
The Ford County 4-H Foundation provides summer camp scholarships to area youth. During 2016, the organization provided finanical support that assisted more than 20 individuals in attending various summer camps and participating in the related educational activities.
