Program areas at The Genesis Youth Project

Evangelized and/or discipled over 110 unique kids (ages 11-19) in juvenile residential jails and foster homes within broward county (circuit 17) via bible studies at juvenile (djj) correctional facilities, as well as distributing bibles and other discipleship, religious material/literature at: broward Youth treatment center (40-beds), lilac girls home (6-beds), avidity-harmony girls home (14-beds). The organization worked closely with families whose teenage children were victims of adult sexual assault and abuse, providing confidential spiritual/pastoral counseling, intervention, and guidance. Provided pastoral care to christian and non-christian parents whose teenager have various behavioral, legal, and spiritual issues/problems. Pastor brown serves on The circuit 17 faith-based leadership board and provides state- wide leadership and training for Florida djj. Supports vacation bible schools in cuba. Serving residential homes or residential long-term shelters serving girls ages 12-17 victimized and traumatized by sex trafficking and sexual exploitation. The organization provides effective & innovative, faith-based programming and chaplaincy services to these impaired young girls haunted by their childhood experiences and The effects of coercion.
The organization has committed to support Youth evangelism in cuba. The organization has been in a strategic partnerships with local churches of influence in cuba co-sponsoring vacation bible schools. The organization's vision is to establish collaborative partnerships to raise up cuban Youth evangelism leaders through training and coaching to provide sustainable Youth evangelism and discipleship. Note: another Florida npo (ein: 82-4104101) incorporated august 17, 2017, has appropriated our extensive history and ministry impact. A cease-and- desist letter was sent.
