The organization aims to honor the distinctive nature of Fort Worth cooking, Food, beverage, and culinary traditions by promoting national and regional attention to the Fort Worth scene and assisting and sustaining chefs, restaurants, and the local ranching and farming communities to raise funds for local grant programs and culinary scholarships; to elevate the skills and culinary knowledge of the general consumer; and to provide internship experiences for those interested in pursuing a career in public relations or marketing.
Fort Worth area culinary career conference - the conference gathers the foodie community's brightest stars to help 50 local high school students explore their career options, expand their knowledge and increase their chances for culinary success.
Fort Worth Food & Wine festival - the Foundation hosts participants, including chefs to cook appetizers, dinners, and desserts, various alcohol vendors to provide drinks, restaurants to provide meals, and musicians to provide entertainment for attendees to promote the local culinary traditions.
