Foundation FOR APPLIED CONST Technology FOR

The foundation provides students in the Prince Georges county, Maryland public school system career training in the construction and construction technology fields. The training includes residential home construction and green technologies. The foundation uses both class room and supervised hands-on training of students in the actual construction of residential houses. The program provides training to approximately 300 students during the FYE 6/30/23. This is the only Program service conducted in the fiscal year ended 6/30/23.

Grants and scholarships are awarded to the highest achieving students who successfully complete the school training program sponsored by the organization. During FYE 6/30/2023, 8 students in total were awarded scholarships and grants. Scholarships are in the form of payments to two or four year higher educational institutions, and grants are in the form of gift cards for tool purchases needed for apprenticeships.
