Program areas at Foundation for Chinese Performing Arts

There is an all-american Chinese brush painting and calligraphy competition for age 22 and under. They participate in 8 groups. About 90 entries were accepted (due to school closure) and there is no application fee. Winners receive a cash award, certificate and a silk mounting winning Arts, photograph and exhibition. Professional jury receive honorarium, travel and meal expenses.
Concerto competition for all pianist up to age 35. There is an application fee of $80 per applicant. Video preliminary with in person tryouts for semifinal and final runs. Jury panel of 10 professional musicians. They receive honorarium, hotel, travel and meals. Winners receive awards and performance with the orchestra.
Free classical music concerts by 19 outstanding asian musicians. Performers receive travel, hotel and meal expenses. Expenses including site rental, promotion, printing, recording and practice room. They also recieve a cash honorarium. Cash donations are recieved at the door
