Four Corners Group seeks to decrease juvenile recidivism and end the school- to-prison pipeline by providing youth programs in Cobb County that focus on education, support, and empowerment to help youth realize their full potential and live successful lives. We serve youth who are:Historically underserved and facing challenges Attending Title I schoolsDropped out of schoolEnrolled in an alternative schoolRecently released from juvenile detention centersCurrently involved in the juvenile court system or juvenile facilitiesThrough prevention, intervention, and restoration we work to provide pathways to a thriving adulthood. Our Youth ProgramsPathways to SuccessA 10-WEEK YOUTH LEADERSHIP PROGRAM FOCUSING ON CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT, LIFE SKILLS, MENTAL HEALTH, AND JOB READINESS. STUDENTS LEARN WEEKLY WITH TRAINED COACHES AND FACILITATORS, AND EXPERIENCE LIFE TRIPS FOCUSED ON CAREER & FUTURE DISCOVERY AND PAYING IT FORWARD THROUGH COMMUNITY SERVICE.1625 InitiativeTEAMS ENTER INTO REGIONAL YOUTH DETENTION FACILITIES TO WORK WITH YOUTH ON TOPICS LIKE CHARACTER, DRUGS, SELF-ESTEEM, AND MORE WITH THE GOAL OF SEEING SUCCESSFUL REENTRY TO SCHOOL/LIFE OUTSIDE THE FACILITY WITHOUT RECIDIVISM (RE-OFFENSE).Parent UniversityPARENTS ARE SERVED AND EQUIPPED THROUGH PARENTING ON PURPOSE SESSIONS DURING THE PATHWAYS PROGRAMS, AS WELL AS MULTI-WEEK SESSIONS OF PARENT UNIVERSITY, HELPING THEM HAVE THE TOOLS TO GUIDE THEIR STUDENTS TOWARD SUCCESS.
