Franciscan Mission Service of North America

The Lay Missioner Program provides Catholic lay women and men the opportunity to serve for a minimum of two years with poor and oppressed communities around the world. We train commission and support missioners in the Franciscan charism to serve others in a way that is respectful and honoring of cultural religious and personal differences.

DC Service Corps provides young adults with the opportunity to engage in direct service with marginalized populations in Washington DC or in service to Franciscan Mission Services FMS overall mission through work at the FMS headquarters. The program emphasizes service simple living community and spirituality in the Franciscan charism.
