Program areas at Franklin-Simpson Renaissance
Special events, such as summer concerts, summer vibes, small town christmas and other events, were sponsored to promote culture and enhance the small town atmosphere.
Courtyard around courthouse was maintained and decorated seasonally and flowers were distributed around the square to enhance the beauty of the area
Facade grants were given to businesses around the square to improve the appearance and preserve historic buildings downtown. Sidewalks, benches, and the band stand were improved to make downtown more appealing. Catalogues and maps were distributed to help with tourism.
