Program areas at Franklin Wells for the World Foundation
In 2023, Franklin Wells for the World (fwwf) completed two (2) projects in mokgacha and eretsha, botswana. These projects supported efforts with children of the wilderness to 1) assist with the subsistence farming for the villages, 2) help all villagers be able to tend their own fields, 3) eliminate the need for villagers to walk 10km each day for fresh water, and 4) reduce risk from the wildlife such as elephants that attack the villagers when collecting water. To accomplish this, fwwf drilled boreholes, installed solar equipment, tested the water, and installed all necessary components.fwwf was established in 2011 to address the need for clean water systems and to provide long-term accessible and safe groundwater sources to at-risk communities in developing countries. Fwwf will work with trusted local organization and volunteers to provide the necessary equipment, expertise, training, and technology to accomplish this mission.
