Farming and food access - cultivate produce year-round and make prices or availability responsive to low-income neighbors
Volunteerism and beautification - improve the natural and built landscape across all sites, educate and coordinate hundreds of volunteers on ecologically sound, socially responsible urban farming practices
Education and community events - provide garden education and farm-based community events year-end on-site and in collaboration with local partners and schools
Community growers' network - initiative for columbus-based urban farmers and gardeners who steward fresh food culture in their own neighorhoods with a focus on communities which are food deserts/apartheids. The project is designed to build food system resilience by investing in the capacities of urban growers with various experience levels. Cgn members receive financial, social, and other support throughout the program.
