Community service- the organization provides various forms of community service throughout the year including seminars, programs such as the citizens Fire academy and Fire prevention week. The citizens Fire academy was created to help the citizens of Lexington better understand how the Lexington Fire departments service their community. The Fire prevention week is a week dedicated to educating the public on Fire prevention and safety issues.
The Firefighters toy program serves the Lexington community by providing christmas toys to more than 1,500 families with children in need in the fayette county area.
