Program areas at Fraternal Order of Police - Grand Lodge
Fop member services - the lodge provides various services to its membership primarily in the form of educating the membership. Topics covered include labor issues, benefits (insurance, etc. ), grievances, safety issues and Police pensions. In addition, the lodge produces a monthly digital news journal for it's membership.
Legislative services - the lodge maintains an office in Washington dc for the purpose of lobbying for passage or support on various crime bills and other law enforcement issues
Labor services - labor services provides a comprehensive set of resources and services designed to ensure that no officer goes to the bargaining table alone. In addition, provides assistance to lodges which require contract information, experienced legal experts, training seminars or personalized labor research.
National meetings - the lodge holds a biennial conference where each state lodge sends delegates to vote on various issues surrounding legislation related to law enforcement and election of officers. The board meets twice a year.
Label program expenditures - the lodge solicits individual donations through the label program, which includes a donation request letter and token return address labels for the donor.
Pac fund expenditures - the lodge maintains a segregated political action committee fund to make political donations.
Informational services - the lodge accumulates and maintains various personnel and payroll data items throughout the u.s. also sponsors labor seminars and other educational seminars
