Program areas at Friendly Center

Friendly centers family resource centers provide over 15 free stability and skill building programs and services for low-income orange county individuals, families, and seniors as they navigate the challenges of poverty. Our program delivery model offers a comprehensive one-stop-shop that allows clients to efficiently receive assistance in multiple areas of need. Through our food distribution programs 7,522 duplicated families received 300,915 pounds of fresh and shelf stable food; through our information & referral services 3,701 unduplicated individuals were connected to multiple on-site programs and services or referred as needed for assistance; through case management services 163 unduplicated families and individuals participated in the program; through the after school academic tutoring program 18,000 hours of assistance was available for 1st-8th students.
