Friends of Minidoka engages in and supports education, research, and historic preservation of the WWII incarceration experience. The organization produces documentary films and lesson plans for use with middle and high school age students about the incarceration experience at Minidoka. It holds events and continues to raise awareness of the need to preserve the history of the Minidoka national historic site. Through transforming and inspiring experiences, Friends of Minidoka strives to pass on the history, legacy, and lessons of civil liberties.
