Friends of Rollo supports and encourages marine conservation by providing hands-on fishing and conservation education to minority, disadvantaged, at-risk, disabled, and other youth. The organization connects them to our marine ecosystem, both fresh and saltwater, through marine awareness. Over 7,000 youth were given a day on a charter fishing boat on the ocean or in freshwater during 2019. In addition to the fishing experience, the youths learned the importance of marine conservation and personal responsibility.
