To provide an organization through which all people interested in Library development may work and to help provide increased opportunities for children, youth, and adults to read for general information, pleasure, and learning. To contribute to the welfare of the community by providing information pertintent to Library development and making this material available to all interested parties. The mission of Friends of the Boise Public Library is to support and advocate for the Boise Public Library and to promote reading and literacy in the community.
