Program areas at Friends of the Burbank Public Library
Friends funded programming for all ages throughout the year, including summer reading. This includes:- Preschool and School-age programs, such as baby & story time, book parties, performers and Lego Club, reaching 23,479 children- Teen programs, such as book clubs and author visits, reaching 963 children- Adult programs, such as author visits, film screenings and music performances, reaching 5,000 people
Friends supported the acquisition of early literacy and adult literacy computers and print material used by the Library in providing services to its customers.
Friends supported the addition of copies of e-books and e-audiobooks to the Library's collections. Additional hard copy books were also purchased.
