Program areas at Neighborhood Pets

Np hosts weekly wellness clinics for clients. Appointments include a free examination by a veterinarian. Treatment provided by the veterinarian team includes vaccinations, microchipping, treatment for ear, eye and skin infections, dewormer, and bloodwork. In 2023 57 wellness clinics were hosted serving 1,200 Pets.
The pet aid fund provides life saving emergency medical care for Pets. This care is provided by partnering with full service veterinarian clinics.in 2023 209 Pets were provided this life saving care. In addition, over 7,132 calls for help from pet owners were answered.
Np provides a free spay/neuter program with transportaion included for client dogs and cats. In 2023 870 Pets were spayed or neutered free of charge.
Food bank - np hosts a food bank available to all clients. Community outreach - consists of coordinating various events throughout the year involving other community partners and social service organizations. These community building events aim to combat social isolation, and improve mental and physical health by providing activities and information. Temporary care - np provides temporary shelter, food or veterinary care for dog and cats while thier owner is experiencing homelessness.
