SITE RENOVATION: Contractors Belko Landscaping, Leonard Design and Terra Cura provided technicaland construction services to renovate the center, based on community informed design approved byCity of Somerville.
PROMOTION OF AND EDUCATION ON URBAN AGRICULTURE AND NATIVE PLANTS: In keeping with our mission ofpromoting urban agriculture and ecological landscaping, the Friends make available organic seeds,seedlings and native plants.
VOLUNTEER COORDINATION: Independent contractor to support the Friends in recruitment, orientation and coordination of volunteers to manage all site needs from urban agriculture, site maintenance, program planning and implementation, and board oversight. This provided volunteers for 579 hours of event programming,in addition to volunteer maintenance efforts, to support estimated attendance of 4257 people at events.
