In 2022 The Friends of the Limberlost collected donations and memberships to help Limberlost State Historic Site promote and do nature related events and programs at the Loblolly Pavilion. The Pavilion is located adjacent to the restored wetlands of the Limberlost Swamp Conservation Area.
The Friends of the Limberlost help the Indiana Department of Natural Resources Division of Nature Preserve purchase, restore, and maintain Limberlost wetlands.
