Provided funds for programs for children and adults in 28 branch libraries in Sacramento county. Provided libraries with funds to purchase books and materials. Donated funds directly to libraries in Sacramento county to provide for unmet needs.
In 2023, we provided thousands of boxes of donated books to more than 40 separate charities, faith-based groups and community organizations. This included:- libraries in kenya, mongolia, guatemala, philippines, malawi- the Sacramento main jail- folsom prison- numerous little libraries around the city- uc davis health center- kaiser hospital- rancho cordova children's museum- sac mental health treatment- various elementary schools- angels in the field, helping northern California farm workers- stephon's house
