Friends of the TCU Libraries encourages understanding and appreciation of the Texas Christian University Library and its special collections. They strive to build a greater realization of the importance of the Library to the future development of the University and attract gifts in support of it. They award the biennial Texas Book Award to recognize good literature and writing (fiction and non-fiction) about Texas. Additionally, they offer programs such as Gift to TCU Library for a Special Collections Endowment Gift.
