the Friends of the Temecula Library primary source of income is the operation of two Library bookstores: one at grace mellman community Library and one at the ronald h. roberts Temecula public Library. These bookstores take in donations of used books and resell them to the general public. Income raised from the bookstores, memberships,and donations is used to sponsor various programs throughout the year.
Friends of the Temecula Library assists the grace mellman community Library and ronald h. roberts Temecula public Library by purchasing new books, supplies & equipment as requested to help support the general operation of both libraries.
the grace mellman community Library and ronald h. roberts Temecula public Library have a variety of programs for children, teens and adults throughout the year. the largest and most popular of these programs is the 'reading by design summer reading program'. the California summer reading program is a project of the California Library association, supported by the us institute of museum and Library services under the provisions of the Library services and technology act. Friends of the Temecula Library is a sponsor of this and all of the Library programs.
