Friends of Treasure Island promotes and operates Treasure Island Camp TIC as a historic legacy Boy Scouts of America BSA camping venue, providing resources, manpower and staff expertise to ensure that the magic of historic TIC can be experienced for untold thousands of campers. TIC provides rustic camping access and scouting programs to local and regional Boy and Girl Scout units on historic Treasure island, which was once one of the oldest Boy Scout Camps in the country. The TIC is now owned by a private entity who allows Friends of Treasure Island to operate it.
