Program areas at Van Cortlandt Park Alliance
Cultural VCPA offers cultural programming for the community including the Enslaved People Project which focuses on bringing to light the history of the people who lived on the land that became Van Cortlandt Park Barefoot Dancing and virtual programming.
Natural Areas VCPA staff, interns, and volunteers improve the 600 acres of natural areas in Van Cortlandt Park by completing restoration and research projects.
Fields and Trails VCPA works closely with NYC Parks to help maintain athletic fields and the Cross Country Course in Van Cortlandt Park.
