Programs Policy - Provided research, writing, analysis, and policy advocacy on issues related equitable governance, environmental health, and economic transformation for community resilience. Our community driven activities align with our broader vision of a Just Transition, where power and resources shift toward a sustainable, equitable future for all residents in WA state.
Capacity Building - Provided organizational strategy consultation, technical assistance and support, grant writing coaching and advice, as well as community grant opportunities.
Community Engagement - We connect with and empower frontline communities - primarily people of color, Indigenous communities, migrants and people with low incomes - who are disproportionatelyaffected by environmental issues. We provide community assemblies providing local residents and leaders to share experiences, advocate for policy changes, and collaboratively build solutions to community challenges. These assemblies facilitate grassroots input into decision making and help communities directly engage in environmental justice and climate policy, ensuring that solutions reflect their needs and values.
