Sadly, our local communities are not immune to the horrific problem of child abuse and neglect. If a child has been severly beaten, neglected, sexually assaulted, or simply abandoned and there are no protective adults in the child's life, child protective services (cps) will remove them from their home and place them in the foster care system. During fy 2022, 95 children from our 7 counties were in foster care. Frontier Casa was able to provide advocacy in court and in the community to 66 of these children.
