Program areas at Frontier Times Museum

The museum hosts educational programs for area schools and home schooled students which include field trips and a Traveling Texas History Trunk program which are portable units that are brought to the schools to be used in the classroom to enhance school curriculum. The museum hosts cultural and historical programs for adults and children which include a free monthly musical program called Frontier Times Jamboree, Texas history lectures series, and art exhibitions. The museum provides a variety of displays that preserve and interpret the history of Bandera County and our western heritage, exhibits that highlight regional art, and children's interactive natural history and science exhibit.Total Donated Services (In-Kind) for 2023 amounted to $2,400.
