Program areas at Fundacion de Mujeres En Puerto Rico
The Puerto Rico Women's Foundation distributed $636,500 in grants among community-based organizations that serve, organize and advocate for women, girls, and the non-binary community of Puerto Rico. The focus of the Foundation was to continue building the infrastructure, by finalizing the transition of responsibilities to the Executive Director, and hire a Program Officer, and a Communications Associate. We also developed a more robust strategic and development plan to look forward to the growth of the Foundation in 3 the next years. The Foundation also developed a Grantmaking Guideline with a focus on supporting emerging organizations outside the San Juan area, who need to build their own infrastructure.
