Program areas at Furniture Friends

Furniture Friends provides donated furniture to people in need throughout Greater Portland. Although demand for furniture outpaces our capacity, we have managed to maintain and refine our operations through the years with a small staff that effectively utilizes volunteer and furniture resources available in the wider community. In 2023, our small staff provided necessary household furniture to 825 low-income individuals and families.
