Program areas at Futures Rehabilitation Center
Pre-Vocational services provide vocational training through work situations. These programs afford the opportunity to improve existing skills, learn new ones and practice them in an environment which is less demanding than competitive employment. Wage are based on non-disabled standards, but at levels which reflect each individuals ability. Staff to participant ratio ranges from 1:1 to 1:15.
In-Home & Community Services -- provided to individuals in their own home or other community settings. These services are designed to assist individuals in acquiring, retaining and improving their daily socialization and adaptive skills necessary to reside successfully. These services also include respite, companion and enhanced supports (provided with a RN and/or LPN)
Life Skills offers a positive approach for individuals developing personal and social skills. Facility based services utilize individual and small group sessions to assist in development of daily living skills. Community based services provide individualized programs to serve needs on a one-to-one basis. Staff to participant ratio ranges from 1:1 to 1:6
Supported Employment Services assist persons with disabilities in finding and maintaining community employment. Individuals learn job seeking skills, explore interests and experience different jobs.. They work side by side with job coaches at community job sites in learning new tasks and follow up with employers to ensure successful placement.
