Gardp na was incorporated in may 2021. Activities to date have included initial organizational matters and kick off of programmatic activities.gardp na has initiated the following, consistent with our business plan:1) initiated fundraising and grant making outreach to support research and development ("r&d") and other programs aimed at combating antimicrobial resistance;2) began raising awareness of and fostering public appreciation and understanding of antimicrobial resistance and associated public health issues among policy makers, the media, and private sector, civil society and governmental bodies, the general public and other relevant stakeholders; raising awareness of the need to invest in r&d and sustainable and equitable access programs in the field of antimicrobial resistance, and advocating for the adoption of policies favorable to such investment in the field of antimicrobial resistance, consistent with Gardp na's status under section 501(c)(3) of the code and subject to the applicable limitations and restrictions under the code.3) supported other relevant global or regional initiatives in public health, with a focus on antimicrobial resistance, including cooperation with and facilitation of strategic and collaborative relationships among policymakers, academic and research institutions, diagnostic, pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies, philanthropic institutions, civil society and other organizations, whether local, national, or international.
