Gemmas Hope provides practical, free books and resources to parents whose baby has died as they navigate their grief journey toward healing through their primary program called Bereavement Book Carts. They reached over 100 parents in the greater Charlotte area in 2022 by giving away over 100 books on pregnancy and infant loss topics. Additionally, they provided over 200 pamphlets listing practical resources like lists of local counselors, grief and support groups, and events where parents can remember their babies and hopefully find some peace.
