Program areas at Gender Justice League
Community Security Program: Gender Justice League served 150 survivors of Hate Crimes, Gender Based Violence (such as domestic violence, sexual assault, or family violence), and other crimes by providing safety planning, resource navigation, and emergency flexible financial assistance to help people get to safety.
Community Education: Gender Justice League conducted 15 workshops serving more than 750 people and co-produced the University of Washington School of Medicine - Clinical Management of Transgender Patients class.
Community Advocacy - Gender Justice League through numerous coalitions supported public advocacy with the media, public, and policymakers on issues that directly impact two-spirit, trans, and gender diverse people in the Pacific Northwest from issues such as gender-affirming care, hate crimes, discrimination in employment, housing, and education, and issues resulting from such discrimination.
Trans Pride Seattle - Produced Trans Pride Seattle which is now a fiscally sponsored project that saw 35,000 attendees, hosted over 75 organizations, and reached 10,000 people online.
