This corporation is organized exclusively for scientific, literary, educational, or charitable purposes within the meaning of section 501(c)(3) of the internal revenue code of 1986. The goal of Generation First Degree - Pico Rivera is to create a college-going atmosphere in the city of Pico Rivera, California. The charity is determined to make obtaining a college education an expected goal for every child in Pico Rivera. This goal will be accomplished by funding programs and workshops for students and families that will guide them through both the academic and financial process of a college education.
