The mentoring program provides direct provison of housing, employment training, education, and emergency aid to those returning to Milwaukee county from correctional facilities; mentor training classes and related expenses for volunteers who support those returning to Milwaukee county from correctional facilities; and events for those returning to Milwaukee county from correctional facilities including employment fairs, parenthood classes, life skills classes, group mentoring, and associated transportation.
The bridge pilot program was developed in cojunction with the Milwaukee county house of corrections to begin the mentoring process while individuals are incarcerated.
