Program areas at Genetic Literacy Project
The glp is a nonpartisan media-based outreach and educational nonprofit charity committed to aiding the public, journalists and policymakers to improve the lives of our global community by promoting Science Literacy. We stand by two principles: 'Science not ideology and 'fact based Science to serve the public interest.' The glp challenges misinformation and supports transparent, ethical, science-based regulations of biotechnology and related sciences that are revolutionizing medicine, advancing sustainable farming and food practices in the face of increasing climate disruption, and limiting dangers posed by disease-carrying plant, insect, and rodent pests. To fulfill our mission, the glp partners across ideological and political lines.
