Program areas at Geneva Camp and Retreat Center
Geneva's summer youth camping program invites young people ages 6-18 into a week long christian Camp program that is aimed at developing their relationship with god and commitment to serving christ with their lives. During the 2023 summer season, 4,034 campers participated in the fourcamping programs (day Camp for grades one - four, residential camps for elementary, middle school, and high school youth). Highlights include imagination week, connect week, and day camps with an option to try an overnight experience. In addition to its summer Camp program, Geneva sponsors several events for youth, adults, and families including youth retreats, winter Camp, and weekend family Camp which integrates the fun activities of a weekend Retreat with programming including bible studies and time of worship. In addition, Geneva sponsors community events such as a community open house and family Camp.
Geneva invites churches and non-profit organizations to use its facilities for various retreats and off-site programming that enable participants to step away from the distractions of everyday life into a quiet setting in which they can focus. Those events take the form of quiet days of prayer, group planning sessions, community and team-building events. During 2023, 205 groups including 12,936 people used Geneva for that purpose.
