Georgia Court Appointed Special Advocates, Inc. (the Organization) is a nonprofit organization which strengthens and supports court-sanctioned, affiliate CASA programs that empower community volunteers who advocate for abused or neglected children and contributes to advancements within the child welfare system.The Organizations vision is for all children who experience abuse or neglect to have the opportunity to thrive and reach their full potential with the support of permanent connections to family. Bringing urgency to a childs needs, both in and out of a courtroom, CASA volunteers provide individualized attention and best-interest advocacy for each child. The Organization operates through 46 affiliated programs in Georgia. These affiliated organizations operate primarily through nonprofit organizations independent from the Organization.
