Georgia Forestry Association

The Georgia Forestry Association promotes the wise use of Georgia's forest resources through education and encourages a healthy business and political climate for Georgia's forestry community. They educate participants to improve the practice of forestry through their SFI Program, which creates greater accountability and provides assurance to Georgia residents that participants are managing forests sustainably. The organization aims to better the conditions of those engaged in forestry, improve forest products, and develop a higher degree of efficiency in the forestry industry.
